Just like the hotel which houses, it I’m going to give this restaurant a big thumbs up. Fine dining it is then in here, a rather splendid aesthetically charming long room overlooking the hotel lawns. You don’t win 2AA rosettes for nothing I tell thee and the place serves up some decent grub like clock work. This is the perfect place to take a lady for an opulent fine dining experience, to charm her, spoil her et al if she is that way inclined. Mind you who wouldn’t liked to be taken for a nice meal. The A la carte menu is fantastic albeit pricey. The starters range from £6-£15 and the mains between £16-£26 with the Cheshire provencal lamb being my choice of recommendation. The décor is magnificent and a candle lit dinner here would be absolutely grand for any special occasion. Even if you fancy a bit of a snoop you can come along have a drink and look around, their lounge is open from 11am until 11pm for non-residents. Thank you THornton Hall, thank you The Lawns and goodnight!
