Eastham Group Practice

I am very surprised at the negativity of the reviews shown as I have been a patient at this Practice from 1967. Never have I received bad service. I have always had referrals when needed and suitable prescriptions when needed. I have found the doctors here to be very compassionate and helpful. There are one or two relatively new doctors at the practice who I have not met and cannot make a judgement of them but all the others and the nursing staff and reception staff have always been pleasant and helpful. I particularly like Dr Huddleston and Dr Cowan as my favourites but would not hesitate to see any of the doctors available. The only snag is the ringing up of a morning for an appointment, it is annoying but I have heard the same complaint at many of the doctors practice who all have the same problem but I think this is because of the high number of patients on the lists in the area. Maybe we could do with another practice in our district! to alleviate this problem.

the staff here are not the most compassionate of people i find most of the doctors very rude and unhelpfull they are jsut in a hurry to fob you off and get rid of you.
you have to phone up on the morning of the day you want an apointment only to get given a time the doctor will phone you back to deside weather or not you are ill enough to come in then they will hope there is an apointment left if not you have to repeat the same process again the next day =(.you can book ina dvance for certian thigns but it normally takes about 3 weeks
