How would you like your burger cooked?!? I was asked when ordering… COOKED I said!!! Settled for «well done». Not good. blooded mince should NEVER happen. The very cause of ecoli?!? Awful! Came back rock hard on a wet through bun base.
£13 for a burger you expect more! It’s a basic as hell meal.

The second time I have been here and the food is fantastic. For starter we had a large mixed platter of crab, cold cuts and olives with some lovely bread.
For the main course I had a swordfish laid on caponata and with a Sicilian dressing, it was pukka.
All finished off with an expresso. Don’t bother going if you are watching your cash or your tight this place is not cheap. If you want a country pub well know for good food then this is the place to go.

Fantastic food and great service. They also carry a good selection of cigars which you can smoke after dinner at their outdoor COSA. Rooms are OK but nothing special. Definitely worth a visit for the food though.

Restaurant and bar are great. Rooms are large but not especially warm. They feel a little unclean, tired and very poorly lit. I need a flashlight!!!
