Stopped here for a quick bite while visiting Windsor palace. Very quick service, courteous staff and great Thai food. Had the corn cake for starters which didn’t seem quite fresh but was very tasty. Was served with a side salad that was absolutely delicious. Had the Jungle Curry for main course which absolutely spicy and just the way I like it. Did realise though that its not like the other curries which have coconut milk in them but nonetheless was good. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely visit again.

We walked by Thai Square and decided to have some Thai food. The place was full and we had to wait 5 – 10 minutes for seating(4 people). Atmosphere is modern and very nice. Once seated, the staff was friendly and guided us to certain menu options are per our preference. We ordered some starters and mains. Starters were ok(spring rolls). For the main I had a vermicilli noodle dish and pad thai was had on the other side of me. Flavor and punch were lacking for me. Not so bad, but definitely not wow or worth the price. I had much better thai for less than half the price. I would skip it

I hate spicy food, so I’m quite restricted when it comes to Thai dishes. But I’ve been to Thai Square a few times and I’ve loved it every single one of them. The safe bet is Pad Thai, but I’ve learned to love the Panang curry(I just ask them to remove the chillies). The sticky rice is top notch. Not sure how they make it exactly, but I’ve tried it in different places and it’s just not the same! Lovely decoration as well. The only downside is how packed it gets on the weekends! Quite noisy, specially when there are several groups around. I’d pick another location for a quiet evening, but it’s quite enjoyable with a few friends.

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in the area but sadly I feel it is not what it once was. The setting is nice, the interior décor is appealing and the place is deceptively big, with several distinct spaces all interconnected. These aren’t always all open though and on quieter days I have found myself seated in the downstairs area where it now feels like there are slightly too many tables. Your romantic meal is less romantic when you are sitting very close to strangers who are also trying to have a romantic meal. The food is good, it’s not expensive as such but more expensive than similar other Thais in the local area. The setting directly opposite the castle probably plays a part in this. On my last visit we had issues with incorrect drink orders. They were quickly resolved but it felt like the attention to detail in our service was lacking a little. It’s still a nice place to eat, but it used to be better.

Excellent Thai food! I’ve been to many Thai restaurants, and this place was great. It’s also very clean and nice inside, and not too pricey. We had the Massaman curry, Yellow curry with prawns, Pad Thai, and Panang curry. All were excellent with lots of meat.

Conveniently located adjacent to Windsor Castle, this Thai restaurant features attractive décor in its various interconnected dining rooms. The curry was the best thing we tried. The«Golden Sack» and rib appetizers were unremarkable, as was the duck entrée. Service was pleasant but not particularly attentive.

We went to Windsor Castle in a weekend, and after we finished the castle tour we tried this amazing restaurant! We really loved their food. A real original Thai restaurant. We loved their chicken and shrimp coconut curry. Also their Tom yum soup is one best I ever tasted! They have two seating areas, upstairs and downstairs. Try to sit downstairs, as its more bright and its nicer.

3 of us shared 3 entrees: red curry with prawns, spicy beef stir fry, and pad seiw with chicken — Great combination of flavors. Wonderful atmosphere — the nicest decorated thai restaurant I’ve been in. I’m saw it and went in randomly(there were 2 other Thai restaurants on the street)

Who would have guessed that there is amazing Thai food to be found in Windsor?! I had the spicy beef salad, yellow curry, chicken satay and sticky rice. I found the salad to have the right amount spice for the more than casual diner, however, I would have liked more of a kick, but this IS England and hot hot spice is not the norm, that I have found. The satay was the perfect appetizer size but a little on the dry side. The curry was lovely and I appreciated the portion size of the sticky rice! They have Mekong whiskey, which from spending a lot of time in Thailand and becoming accustomed to the, let’s say strong taste, made me feel at home! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The ambiance was upbeat and busy and the décor beautiful! They have an outdoor patio for dining or smoking. The prices are fantastic, especially for the portion size! The next time I am in Windsor I will be sure to return!

A quaint stroll from Windsor Castle and from both Macdonald House Hotel and the Mercure Hotel(places on my corporate travel site). I recommend taking the leisurely stroll down Thames Street to reach Thai Square(bypassing several other Thai restaurants). Thai Square serves traditionally This favorites such as Pad Thai, Tom Ka Gai, traditional curries and more. One German colleague and two US colleagues plus me(also American) decided to give Thai Square a shot this past week. What we enjoyed: — Tom Ka Gai The coconut milk was not overpowering of the fragrant spices, properly cooked chicken, mushrooms, and the ginger within the dish. Everyone, even the German — and let’s face they’re a brutally honest bunch — greatly enjoyed their soup. –Pad Thai, Duck, Chicken Green Curry, and Chicken Red Curry(with four sides of steamed white rice). No complaints from my colleagues on their red curry, duck, and pad thai. But, I cannot comment further because… well, they ate their food and I did not. But, I can say they all left happy. I had the chicken green curry and asked for it spicy. Now, I am not sure if in England your tolerance to spice is low so they upped the spice level to make it hot for an English person… but, this American was unimpressed with the level of spice. I think next time I would ask for it «native» and really get them to spice it up. That said, I still enjoyed the dish. The flavor, portion, and vegetable to chicken ratio were all well worth the price. Like I said, I was just disappointed with the level of spice. The broccoli within the dish brings back especially favorable memories for some reason. Just a well prepared and nice dish. I would recommend to both locals and travelers alike.

Been here only once, It took a while to find this place, it is situated in a road where my GPS was not showing a way to enter. We ordered some starters and main courses. unlike other places none of our orders were delayed every thing came on time. I should say the food was Excellent. But i was bit disappointed with the drinks, they only had one specific beer and it did not taste good at all. :(Even though it was around 6pm on a Monday Night, they had a massive crowd. The atmosphere was great, candle light tables, The food was at great value. very friendly service. I will go there again.

Have to say, service is what let me down here and the reason for 3 stars. We were greeted at the door with a time limit for finishing dinner. It took two attempts at bringing out my girlfriends meal(still got it wrong) before we finally just went with it because my meal had been on the table for 15 minutes. Food was decent. I had the drunken duck and no ones really sure what my girlfriend had.

Delicious!!! Everyone loved their dishes and our waiter was hilarious and honest… I love it when waiter’s honestly suggest against ordering a particular item. His recommendations were spot-on! I had the duck from the house specialities page(2 chilies for spice level… perfect amount of heat). My colleagues had 2 different prawn dishes, both from the house specialities section of the menu(one in a curry sauce I believe… the menu actually says«this dish is wonderful») and another with roasted prawns. No brown rice here, but they offer sticky rice, which actually works very well with soaking up sauces and is much easier to eat b/c it stick together! Beautiful restaurant and menus. Would love to come back and try the highly recommended soup for two.

I think Linh L. and I work at the same place(no really: p) I was also out here for work this week for the 2nd time and had tried this place before. It is the spot to go to in Windsor for Thai food as told by my colleagues, there is another one up the street, but haven’t tried it yet. This place is very authentic and for me just spicy enough since I can’t really handle spicy too well. I had the vegetarian corn fritters and their house sliced beef which was fantastic and coconut ice cream for desert. Overall, reat ambiance, service is ok and food is real and a change from all the catered food and English food. :P

After days upon days of catered sandwiches at work, I was itching for some ethnic food. We taxi’d to Windsor and stumbled upon Thai Square. The food here was very authentic and flavorful. We ordered a variety of foods from fish to curry to pad see ew dishes. My only gripes are that they do not have Thai Iced Tea(is this a U.S. thing?) and their food was not spicy enough. We ordered plates at maximum spiciness, and it was like a «medium» at places in the states. I’ll be heading back to Windsor soon, and I can’t wait to try Thai Square again!

This is a lovely Thai restaurant in the centre of Windsor. When you walk in, your first impression is that it is quite small however you go down some stairs and enter this vast room which can seat probablyaround 50 — 60 people! Great atmosphere and good food. Great for groups!
