We waited 10 minutes to be seated in a half empty restaurant and 20 minutes for a staff member to approach is before we left. The three wait staff stood in a corner and chatted while we were waving them down.

Nice atmosphere, decent service, but the food was subpar. I will say the pollo con salsa was tasty, and I was happy to have the option of gluten free bread. Plus, gluten free items were clearly marked on the menu, which was helpful. However, the tortilla and paella were not so great. The paella in particular had dried out rice on top and was only barely warm despite a hot bowl. If you’ve been to Spain and had real tapas, might want to pass this one up.

I like la tasca, and this one is great because it is semi-al fresco, initial waiter was a bit«can’t care less» but the others were ok

I have been in Windsor for a european meeting. The project partners and I visited La Tasca for eating typical spanish tapas. We ordered different tapas for 14 people and I’d like to say that they were delicious and convenient. The service was excellent, kindly and friendly. I can only advise to call at La Tasca! Kind regards Maliarda

Great location as you can eat outside without actually being exposed to the elements due to the old station roof. Food is usually excellent but can be a bit slow sometimes. There are usually deals for eating there during the week or a voucher online so it’s usually a really good value place to eat too. Worth booking.

A recent face lift to the restaurant, should help the place get more custom. Food can be varied it quality. Price is ok but you get what you pay for. Good point, it is warm. even in the winter months.

Quite a nice location inside the old train station, but definitely not one of the best La Tasca’s I’ve been to. The food was tasty very nice garlic mushrooms and spanish tortilla, but the one thing that let it down was the wine! We ordered a nice bottle of white Rioja which had obviously come straight from the wine rack and not the fridge as it was warm. The manager put it in a wine cooler full of ice for us which cooled it down in 20 minutes or so, but we’d have much preferred it to have arrived already chilled.

The Windsor La Tasca is sat inside part of the old station which is now a shopping centre. The place itself is nicely done, with quite a nice atmosphere, although I’m not sure how the temperature can be cold in summer and winter. The menu is the normal Spanish Tapas fare, and was served fairly quickly although in general the service was rather slow and haphazard: the place wasn’t that busy: disappointing.
