Gibleys provided a wonderful night of dining. The dishes were well executed and took some risk while keep true to British cuisine. The room is small, but the lovely wood detail gave it so much warmth and character.
If you are making the trip to Windsor Castle, I’d highly recommend crossing the river to enjoy a wonderful meal here.

For starters had the goat cheese and honey poached figs with fennel, hazelnet and crostini. Main course was the North Atlantic cod with chickpeas two ways and for dessert I had a traditional Eton Mess. Enjoyed with some delicious Pinot Grigio. This meal was sophisticated and very well made from start to finish. Atmosphere is quiet and subdue. I would definitly come back if I happen to be in the Windsor area again.

Great restaurant, slightly off the beaten track of central Windsor but in reality not far at all. I’ve always had excellent food here and the staff are very helpful. Always surprisingly reasonable when you get the bill too.

Probably one of the best eating places in Eton and Windsor. Not cheap, but value for money. Many of the Eton boys eat there with visiting parents at the weekend. English food with a good selection for both veg and non veg.

Fantastic little place in Eaton next to Windsor. The Pork Loin was very well prepared. The Gnocchi was very good, and we had a nice bottle of Rioja. Highly recommended

Enjoyable, quite ‘sophisticated’ restaurant on eton high street. ideal place to take the parents, or business contacts– as is quite traditional, but with a lightness of touch and enough imagination to make the eating interesting.
Really good wine list, including their own english vineyard sparklers– a glass of which was really a very nice way to start an evening here!
They do a lunch time ‘express’ one course plus a drink deal for under a tenner in the week, and i believe they also do 2 and 3 course lunch set menus for £14.50 and £19.50 respectively.
As with most decent restaurants in the windsor area make sure you book in advance– especially on weekends
