Even though Fudge was not invented in Britain, you will see it everywhere and sadly for your figure, it’s really good, especially at «Fudge Kitchen»(I think there are 6 – 7 of them in Britain, mostly in touristy places). Staff here was super friendly, offering up huge chunks of fudge to try, we sadly ended up getting the 6 slice«deal» thankfully we had a group of people to share it will. Once flavor this particular store had that I didn’t see elsewhere was salted dark chocolate… super good and worth a try.

this is really a tourist place expensive and a slightly annoying amount of harping on about ‘traditional’, ‘olde worldy’ etc However the fudge itself is actually very good, proper moist, tooth sticking chewy sweetness. Dont get sucked in by all the trendy flavours– its all about clotted cream or rum and raisin!

When you go to Windsor you will be bombarded by tacky shops aimed at the tourists. I have to admit that this shop ticked every box, they make fudge, they sell fudge, they let you sample every type of fudge they make and even will show you around their kitchen if you ask. It is pricey and it you get carried away, like I most definitely did, you will have a stabbing pain in your gut from the sugar overload. I would strongly advise you only take away half of what you actually want to avoid this! The shop is just along the high street and really easy to find. Make sure you pop in even if it’s just to sample. The friendly staff are more than happy to feed you tip bits, as you greedily eye up the slabs of loveliness.
