Lovely location, nice, spacious Starbucks unlike many that are cramped. Friendly multi-tasking staff BUT what’s with the front door? As I first approached the shop, two people were doing battle with the doors and failing. Seeing the sign that said ‘press the release button’ it wasn’t clear where the release button was and they were pressing the sign with clear confusion(I know, seems dopey and extremely funny to watch!). The release is set low down and back from the doors on the road-facing wall a disabled access requirement I’m sure so if you’re a first time visitor to the city, there’s no way of knowing why you appear to be barred. Luckily having witnessed the battle, I knew what what was expected and gained entry without problem, but while I enjoyed my well made and delicious coffee, I saw any number of failed attempts to gain access and even more who simply forced the doors. Get it sorted Starbucks. Deducted one star.

Like most Starbucks but I’ve found the staff pretty good on busy periods. There is further seating at the back of the café, as well as the seats at the front. I find mobile reception very poor here — so beware if you’re meeting friends for the first time!

nice coffee, good service & spotlessly clean, what more can you ask for? PS Recently visited again and asked for a gingerbread coffee to be told they had run out of syrup, ok fair enough, so ordered a small coffee to be told i could have a large or nothing as all the small and medium cups were dirty!!! What on earth!!!

OK — weird why am I posting about Starbucks, of all the places in this little town? I don’t normally go to Starbucks but this is one of the places that I could find free wi-fi. There aren’t too many places here except the library where I could find free wi-fi. The hotel I’m staying at charges 15 pounds a day which is like 25 dollars for wi-fi! That’s the norm around here I suppose. The place looks pretty small from the outside but it’s actually pretty spacious. 5 stars for saving my ass.

I really like visiting this Starbucks Coffee house, because its quite new at the moment because of it being built recently and the drinks there are good quality. I always go for a Frappacino and I’m rarely disappointed in the quality of the drink. The prices of the food and drinks are rather pricey but overall, if you have it now and then, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try one and spend alittle. The staff are friendly but the process of the drinks are rather slow. But overall good.

Opened fairly recently. It’s in a very busy part of High Street, which means there is usually a long queue to contend with. The bar is positioned toward the back of the café so the seating is more toward the front, meaning that there is lots of through-traffic and it’s virtually impossible to have a conversation while seated there.
