Excellent good carvery food, value for money same price all day. For this reason gets very busy at times worth a wait.

The cavery is excellent value for money with a good selection of vegetables. The meat is always tasty but it is hit or miss with the amount of meat you get depending on staff serving. Some are very mean and give next to nothing.

The Vale Royal is a great value carvery, weekdays at £3.50 per person a little more on Sundays. During the week it can get quite busy with pensioners during the day and families at tea time but if you are prepared to wait a little while the food is of a good standard and a good choice. Typically the carvery is beef, turkey, ham with a choice of roast and new potatoes, cauliflower cheese, peas, sweetcorn, carrots/swede, stuffing, yorkies, gravy etc. The vegetables don’t change that much and the stuffing balls are usually overcooked and hard but mostly the food is a good standard and good value for money. There is also a menu if you don’t fancy the carvery, or if you want a vegetarian option. The menu also has starters and desserts. Drinks and coffees are available from the bar and meals must be paid for in advance also at the bar. The building is wheelchair accessible but it would be almost impossible to pass along the carvery in a wheelchair as it is roped off with just a narrow walkway to pass through. Tables are wheelchair accessible with just one step up to the conservatory part of the dining area. There is a large car park, and outdoor garden area.
