Standard weather spoons pub! Good choice of menu, quick simple and cheap, very local mans pub, but that’s what was nice about it, quite large space, over all a good experience for lunch

That’s a Wetherspoon’s pub in a main shopping street with all you expect there.
A good choice of drinks and food at reasonable prices.
It’s — to my taste — much more pleasant than the Yates opposite.
As usual friendly service and toilets clean enough.
Not far from the Town Bridge (for Brewer’s Quay).

This is the local Wetherspoons pub in Weymouth and I would personally give it a very good review. As a standard branch of the nationwide chain it offers excellent value for money on drinks and I would say is the cheapest place in town to drink. Because of this, it is often quite packed out in the evenings at weekends and it is frequently standing room only. The pub itself is usually pretty clean, even the toilets — which is good. It serves a good range of food at excellent prices, although finding a table to eat at can be a challenge if it is busy. The downside is that although Weymouth is a family seaside down, this pub has a no kids policy, so rules out a lot of the holidaymakers.
