This is a nice little restaurant that’s much more pleasant inside than the exterior might lead you to expect. The waiters are friendly and food is damned nice. I have a typically American appetite(possibly a bit more, even)… and I struggled to finish my meal(the portions should be adequate for most). I ordered a chicken vindaloo curry. So, they use a system of «mild, «Madras,» and«vindaloo» to indicate ascending spice/heat level. Not on the menu is «phaal.» This is the spiciest. I tried it and, well, although it was hotter, I found the vindaloo to be more flavourful. This place was recommended to me by an expat back in the States as «some of the best curry in/around London.» Indeed. It’s also well-priced: 3 quid for samosas(two, small), 1.5 for rice, 1 – 2 for pappadum, and 6.5 quid for the curry. I got out of there for Just under twelve quid(not including tip). Not to shabby… N.B.: unless you have a hearty appetite, just order the main dish.

Small and satisfactory Indian restaurant. The food is good and portions of a reasonable size, staff very friendly. Where it does fall down is the closeness of the tables, which are on the small side. There’s a special deal on Thursday nights and what seems a bargain lunch offer. We will return.

They now have an additional chef and the food is very good. If you go on a Thursday they currently(Feb10) have a buffet for £10 flat fee and it’s excellent value and quality

Probably the worst food that I ever tasted. Bad service, very bad hospitality and very rude behaviour. I recommend that nobody visits this place, or atleast the restaurant changes its staff and the manager.

Probably the best meal I’ve ever eaten in London. Let’s be honest: British food is an abomination. I mean comon, pork pie? WTF is «pork pie?» Everything plate of food this place brought out was incredible. I don’t think you can get wrong with anything here. I’ve had some very mediocre Indian food in London and have been disappointed many a time, however, these guys know curry. Just great food, very good service. If I lived in London, I would most definitely frequent this place. When in Weybridge, hit this joint up.
