The cinema is also a theatre(although the stage is no longer in use for shows) and is home to the Compton theatre organ. Only one of two left in the country still in their original installations and in a working cinema. Regular concerts are given by the West of England Theatre Organ Society. A not for profit organisation devoted to the up-keep of the organ. Details on Tickets in advance from the cinema or at the door. Usual price £7. Multi-story car park near by. Sundays by-monthly. The new seating is very comfortable but if your short, don’t sit in the back row as the high backs of the seats in front make it difficult to see the organ. It’s fine for cinema as the screen is much higher.

The cinema is the most modern and does not use the best equipment, but it is the only available cinema in the area(the next closest probably being bristol). It offers about 4 screens and a small variety of movies that are in the charts(new releases). It uses young incompetent staff, that if you needed them are not very helpful. The cinema also has an expensive drinks and sweets area available. Adult screenings(18+) are available some nights on most popular movies.

Old style cinema. Not many screens so not such a great selection of films as at a modern multiplex, but it is more local if you live in Weston. Overpriced popcorn and drinks as with any cinema.
