I’ve been going to the Royal Bengal for years and have never had a bad experience. Certainly not flashy but a pleasant atmosphere and good value for money. The hot dishes are hotter than at similar restaurants. Something to bear in mind. However as the dishes are cooked fresh you can always ask for your madras to be toned down a bit.
