I agree with the previous reviewer. I’m not mad about golf clubs. This may be something to do with the fact I am not interested in golf in the slightest. However, I like Clydebank and District Golf Club because of the stunning views of Glasgow it offers. Perched on a hill inbetween Hardgate and Bearsden, on a clear day you can see all over the city. The actual bar is pretty generic golf club, but smart and reasonably priced.

As I said in a previous review, I am not really a fan of golf clubs. I dislike their dress codes and silly rules. Clydebank and District Golf Club(or Hardgate Golf Club as it is known by locals) certainly seems to tow the daft rule line. A friend of mine was told he would have to carry two drinks from the bar to his table on a tray, even though the table was only a foot away from the bar! However, I have attended a few good functions held in here and, as the club is located on a hill, it offers lovely views of Glasgow. Afraid I can’t comment on the course itself as I am not a golfer.
