My favorite Indian restaurant! I have been here numerous times and also had delivery. The food is always great. My fav is Lamb Baadam Pasanda and Lamb tikka. The popondooms come with 8 different chutneys, excellent. Free delivery if your order is £15, and free drink if £20. The garlic naan is perfect. Never had a bad meal, always a delight.

Professional, authentic and enthusiastic! This place has been a staple for me since I started coming to London (Heathrow) several years ago. The service is impeccable. The food is delicious. The locals that frequent the place prove that Achari is must visit. If you have a short layover or an extended stay plan for a visit to this unassuming Indian restaurant in Sipson. Cheers!

Fantastic service, food and atmosphere. The menu is the best I have seen anywhere and the food is even better. Try it. You will be coming back… If you’re not flying off somewhere like I was.

Not equal to the reviews. I eat a lot of Indian good and this was mediocre at best. Very bland and undeveloped flavors. An odd oily quality to all dishes. Plus a poor wait staff.

Fantastic Indian, one of the best I’ve eaten anywhere. Service is always excellent to boot. I always stop for dinner whenever I’m in or passing thru London… I’ve even night stopped when I could have made a same-​day connection to eat here.

Great curry house very convenient to Heathrow. Excellent variety of dishes — very, very tasty. Attentive service and always reliable. Good value. I try to stop by for dinner when I travel to/​through LHR.

We stopped in for lunch on a Thursday and were concerned about being the only people in the place. Was that a bad sign? It was clean, nicely decorated and fully staffed… where was everyone?
I appreciated the friendly greeting and attentive service, but it was almost too much. I went for my standard chicken tikka masala, which was promptly served to me with a separate plate of rice.
The sauce itself was very tasty; more tangy with tomato than creamy as I’ve experienced in some Indian restaurants. There weren’t as many pieces of chicken as I would have liked, although the pieces in the dish were generously sized. I thought the price was reasonable for lunch (8.95 GBP).
Irish coffee was pretty freakin’ delicious. That’s random, I know, but my co-​worker ordered it and I had a sip. OMG.
I’d gladly return to this place. With a little less hovering, I could bump it up to four stars.

One of the joys of travelling to our UK office near Heathrow is the close proximity to Southall for great food. However, if you don’t have a car, are jetlagged, are staying near the airport, and you are craving Indian food, simply give Achari a call. Their menu is on the web, and they will deliver the food to your hotel room! 3.5 stars for the food, and an additional .5 star for the convenience.
