Cracking real ale pub usually a very good selection of cask ales. Disco night till 1am on a Saturday. Decent beer garden.

One of many pubs on the High Street in West Bromwich and this is not a bad place to come to for a pint. I have always had a pleasant time whilst being here and it is a decent pub for atmosphere.
I have been in better pubs but again this is not the worst pub. Service is excellent and the staff here are very good with their customers. This place has undergone a makeover in recent times and I have to say the inside as well as the outside of the pub looks good.
The Old Hop Pole is right opposite another pub so you can imagine the competition between the two. Whenever I have been here, I have found the majority of regulars are oldies. Nevertheless you do see younger adults.
Would I come back here again? Yes I would and this is a pub locals should visit if they have not already. Not the biggest of pubs but don’t let that put you off from coming.
