Don’t know about you, but I’m a bit of a nut for all the «old» buildings and monuments dotted around the country, and I’m well impressed by the few people among us who can turn their hands to looking after and repairing them.
And it’s great that people just finishing their education are just as keen to get into this as the older generations; gives me a lot of hope for the future.
Anyway, Sally Strachey and her team have done some great work. You can see Corfe Castle on her website; no they didn’t build it, but they did spend some time repairing it and they also repaired the monument in Glastonbury Market Place after some idiots decided to vandalise it.
