The Wells deli is situated on the quayside in the centre of town. It’s a tiny outlet but absolutely stuffed to the rafters with delicatessen fare. The range of olives and cheeses is great and you’re encouraged to try before you buy. There is a huge range of tins, tubs, jars and bottles containing specialties, oils and all manner of delicious treats. They also run a sandwich service where they’ll construct a sandwich or bap based on your wishes which you can then eat on the quay wall outside. The only downside of the Wells deli is that it isn’t cheap, some items are distinctly pricey so it pays to enquire about the cost before you commit to buy.
