A pub for all seasons.
It’s a mid sized pub that keeps it’s «local pub» feel. A pleasant place to watch a match, grab a pint or dine. I believe they’ve credit crunched the prices as well so a good value meal can be had. A pleasant pub worth a look.

Nice pub food in a nice setting. The Thorn Inn is a large pub in Appleton village, which in itself is a pleasant village especially on a summers day.
The pub has comfy furniture and a selection of real ales if that’s your thing. The food is not the best i’ve ever had but I had no complaints and service was friendly and quick.
There is an outdoor seating area which is nice for the summer.
The pub is near one called the village hall which is nice for drinks too so if you’re in the area you may aswell try them both.
