not a bad pub really quite nice with two for one deals on the menu, food is average, service was slow but only one girl seemed to be on the bar at the time, who was also serving from the kitchen too, so although we did not wait long for the food but then was waiting for drinks at a empty bar it was not busy at the time but think it was due to only one staff on at the bar, would visit again however, and there is also a funhouse on the pub for the kids which we have not tried out has yet.

The 3 times we have been here the service was very slow even when its almost empty.
Got our order wrong twice and we had to eat our food while others with us waited for theirs to come as it would have been cold.
very poor service really.
Waited 10 minutes to be served at an empty bar!
Won’t be visiting again. 3 times is enough to see if it improved.

This is one of our local pubs and is great if you can’t be bothered cooking. They do a large selection of meals, and the menu is changed every season. It can get really busy with large family parties so you can struggle to get a table on a weekend, which is a shame as their Sunday roasts are really nice and the 2 for £10 offer on food is a steal. If you have room after a main, the dessert selection is pretty nice and worth sampling. Beerwise it can take a while to be served if its vusy but they do a reasonable choice including some different bottled ciders and wines.
