If you like good friendly service with good food then id give this place a wide berth. Staff were too busy rushing round to get even our order right even though there were only 3 customers in the shop. The fish were stiff with thick batter & the chips resembled rubber & were unchewable by half. Not one i would recommend, sorry!

There’s nothing especially outstanding about this fishbar in the village. It does usual chinese/​fishbar grub at very ordinary prices. There’s another chippie in the village which we choose to go to becuase they’re chips are better, but there’s nothing wrong with this place. They’re open on a Sunday which is a bonus, and they’re open fairly late at weekends — there’s usually a spot outside, although a LOT of people park on the double yellows in order to get their chips, so that must be annoying for the residents. All in all, its a very ordinary chippy — but its handy and open when the other one isn’t so we sometimes visit, but not out of choice!
