This is very difficult to find, especially if you’re not from the immediate area. Evans House is a huge place and 147 is one of the ground floor units, entrance hidden away down what looks like a delivery road.
Once inside, most people are very pleasantly surprised as it’s a well-​designed club with sufficient snooker tables to ensure long waits are extremely rare. Also caters for pool and darts to a more limited extent.
Simple pub grub is available, such as burgers and chips and similar fast foods.
The selection of drinks is very limited, but sufficient for non-​real ale fans.
