For generations, Dicksons Pork Butchers has been satisfying the demanding tastes of the North East, and it is still owned and managed by the family who founded it back in 1953. The business was founded by Irwin and Helen Dickson who put all their capital into opening their first shop in the ‘Nook’ in South Shields.
What do I love about this place?
Their meat pies, love the chunky meat ones.
Bought my first one must have been back ohhh over 2t0 years ago. Fantastiic Chunky Beef individual pie. Packed ssolid with meat.
The Butchers Shop iis still there, same shop, same family.
If you ever visit Guidepost it’s a must try pie.
