This shop is amazing, the range of cakes i delectable and they are all ‘home cooked’ style rather than the mass produced stuff from other bakers. They have adult ranges such as slices of coffee and walnut cake and also cater for children with gingerbread and plain biscuits in the shapes of characters and themed for the season (e.g. halloween, xmas etc)
The far end of the shop is the savoury shop with handmade sandwiches for you to choose, you choose the bread type or roll type and then a mix of whatever fillings, with a huge range of meats/​fish and salad. The hot pastries include ‘home cooked’ sausage rolls, pastry wraps and cheese straws which are the crumbliest most melt in th emouth i have ever tasted.
Great value and a tables/​sofas for you to sit in with the kids or friends and enjoy your treats. The shop is large and the aisle is fine for a single or double buggy. The only downside is that at lunch time the shop is very busy. This does reassure the buyer that the sandwich fillings are regulalry changed as they are so busy!
