I have been privately renting from Norman Shepherd for 2 years and have had no problems. They are Quick to deal with any issues that arise and their contract paperwork is always sent in good time.
The contract terms are fair but i feel having 3mthly inspections by them is a bit over-​the-​top, and i have never heard of this with any other estate agent but it is not a problem as they are flexible with times and dates and will come late evening to fit in with work patterns. There is also an option for them to let themselves in but that just feels far too invasive to me.
All the staff are friendly and polite and willing to bend over backwards to help you, such as when i changed banks and had to pay cash one mth. It was no problem for them and they even offerred to conincide and inspection so i didn’t need to attend the office.
