Great café diner in Walsall town centre. It’s right opposite St Paul’s bus station. They offer take out as well as sit in and they have an outside area with tables and chairs. They catch the mid day sun so when it is out like it was when I was there earlier, it has a lovely atmosphere. Inside is modern café style with a diner feel, though they call themselves a café restaurant. The have two indoor seating areas, over a split level. One is street level which is great for access and mobility, the other is up two steps and provides lager tables and mores eating options. Décor is not intrusive or over powering, but background music is 50s Rock and Roll with a slight rockabilly feel to it — reminded me very much of the American chain Eds Diner without the American stylings. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Food, is prepared fresh so expect a short wait but that does means you know it freshly cooked and prepared. I only had a hot sandwich and was more than pleased with the food quality. Cost wise they are fantastic value for money and they offer a good choice in meals and dishes. I would highly recommend them!
