Not tried the food so cant comment (will try it though), but I like the friendly atmosphere. Nice big pub, good choice of beers and free wifi to boot.
Went in on quiz night (Thursday). 50p for quiz and food (fishcakes, chips and baked beans) was laid on afterwards. Excellent. Landlord is (at time of review) a larger than life character.
Think along the lines of Al Murray and you wont be far off.
