Not far off the M1 it’s worth a detour on your way through Yorkshire or a special visit if you’re local. Above average Indian food BYO booze and very good service.

Really excellent curry — and that comes from someone who isn’t a major curry fan normally. These guys have different dishes from the main basic ones (though they have those too of course) and they are so tasty! They’re also very good at guessing what you’d like if you say the sort of thing you are looking for. However, I always go for their Ranglee Pops starter, which is like nothing else I’ve tasted before and I’m working on converting my friends too! The lads are all very friendly there too. I’ve not had a chance to go into the restaurant bit but friends have and they say they have a great time.

I am a big curry eater and go to a lot of Indian restaurants but this place is great because the guys who work there are great fun and the food is brilliant. You can also bring your own booze which is great for me because it saves me a fortune on the meal bill! If I can’t be bothered going out, they deliver too and they don’t make you wait for ages. Top notch.
