Nando’s is nando’s. This one is situated underneath the Vauxhall Overground station. It is built in an arch shape, just like a tube station. Constantly when train passes by, you will feel the vibration. Personally, it does not bother me, it is quite an interesting experience. As usual, one of the staff sat us a table, and we went to order our food at the counter. The staff was quite patient as me and my friend… were like… I will have this. what is this… should I have this… this does sound quite nice… now i want to have this too…. you want to pay separately… sure… hmm. maybe pay together… sure… yea. just being one of those indecisive customer basically, but the staff was very patient with us. My friend’s halloumi and portobello mushroom wrap arrived first. I had a bite, and love it… I always like portobello mushroom though~~anyways. I ordered 5 chicken wings plus fries and garlic bread and that arrived like 15 mins after my friend’s… Food is up to its usual standard. I really like the peri peri fries~ It is quite popular among the neighbourhood.

This location is right by the Vauxhall Station. Different because of it being under the tube station. The ordering counter is right on the right when you come in. The protocol is that you get a table first and look at the menus. Then you head to the counter to order and pay. Make sure you know your table number so they know where to send the food. All the Nando’s menus are the same. I’ve tried three or four things and they were all good. Good, quick meal.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The setting is fun because you are in the old railway arches and the ceiling is domed above you. The food was your standard Nandos fare(in my opinion, not bad at all and you get what you pay for) and the staff were really great.

Well it is Nandos — I mean — what more do you want? Location/atmosphere It’s a really nice atmosphere for a nandos(inside), as you walk in, the nandos is situated on an island of a one way system roundabout, by vauxhall station, its pretty grimey, but there is bike parking directly outside. Inside it has a low but beautiful ceiling, they’ve really used the arch as a positive. It’s got interesting lighting(for nandos). Food It’s Nandos — I’m not going to review the food. Service Understaffed a little, its the little things that matter, the sauces hadn’t been moved to the front, so there weren’t any to use without taking from cleaned tables. The line was long. There wasn’t even anyone at the door to say the normal ‘have you been to Nandos before(i.e do you know we don’t do proper table service)’ Not to say the staff weren’t friendly, and enthusiastic, it was a little frustrating that my food came out about 10minutes after my friends, and everythiing on my plate was hot except my Halloumi(what did the cheese say in the mirror — Hallo-Me :-)) so the timing of the cooking was off. They took forever to bring my food, and my last bite was finished and suddenly my plates were all gone. I like inside the venue — and the food was ok. It was a little messy, maybe lots of staff phoned in sick last night?
