Swanborough

Swanborough is one of, if not the newest, residences on the University of Sussex Falmer campus. With en-​suite rooms costing £110 per week, this is certainly not the cheapest accommodation on campus, but the facilities are pretty swish.
I was visiting a friend in these halls a few weeks ago and got to see first hand what the current wave of freshers’ idea of «slumming it» is and quite honestly, it ain’t half bad! With fresh interiors, slick en-​suite bathrooms and spacious lounge/​kitchens, this puts the idea of students living in infested dumps to rest. Some of the living rooms even come complete with flatscreen TVs and all the rooms have DSL internet access. Oh the student life — I envy you guys! It is still a little pricey though.
