I work a few blocks away and this M&S is truly a lifesaver. I find that if you go between 11:30 — 12:45, you will find that they are actively marking down most of the ready meals! After the mark downs, you can usually score a hearty lunch for around £3 (with the help of a microwave of course). I also really like their 2 for £3 specials on their boxed salads and their hummus. All their desserts are delicious especially their cheesecakes.
The staff are really nice and you will find that you will see the same faces over and over again, giving this store a very «local» feel (like what other reviewers have said).

A really convenient centrally located M&S Food, which considering its small size stocks a great selection of M&S produce, including fresh fruit and veg, bakery, wine, and (my favourite), a good range of flowers! The number of times I pop in for milk and bread and come out with an armful of blooms…
You can rely on it for pretty much everything you might need to whip up a decent meal. And because of its late opening hours, it’s perfect for picking up all those basics you habitually run out of, and for Sundays when you get past 4.00pm, everywhere else is shut, and you’re feeling peckish!
