Well ive been here 45minutes and no one has take my order. The beer is refreshing, but obviously the service is really poor. It came recommended fif thats a consideration for some. The locals i know told me to come here. They said the burger was good, as was the mac and cheese. Met some buds here after and had a good time. The fish and chips were good, but nothing fantastic. Other than the service… its ok.

The best pub to be in for a day at the rugby. …great atmosphere. Good beers and friendly staff

Service begins at the bar. Try the margherita — it truly is a classic pizza. London’s pride battered cod, chips and peas is a tasty trio. House salad is good too. Nice local atmosphere. Get s table early.

I haven’t ventured in here on a match day(it’s certainly a rugby pub!) but otherwise, it’s a nice relaxed venue for an evening drink. Given its proximity to the train station, I’ve found it a convenient spot to pop into for a post work drink or last orders with colleagues en route home. It’s pretty spacious inside with various seating options, including cosy booths with their own TV screens set into the wall, just in case you still want to keep one eye on the rugby while you chat!

The bar was more than prepared for the flood of rugby fans so the service was quick(although 80% accurate) and the price was fine. A lot of standing room inside and large patio area out the back Overall nice. Would like to go again on a non-game day and see what the pub actually looks like!

Avoid this place on game days. It’s the first pub off the train. Every other day of the week it’s an enjoyable place.

It’s easy to imagine this place getting utterly rammed on an international rugby matchday. As it is, this place had a nice hum about it on a Quinns match day and has a couple of big screen for the sport as well, including Sky in 3D. If that’s your bag, that is. Really, there’s not too much to say about this place, which is generally a good thing as far as solid pubs go. There’s a fair bit of space, a lengthy food menu, a good selection of beers and friendly bar staff. Not the cheapest place — kind of inevitable, given it’s location — but a very decent boozer nonetheless.

Nice enough pub, and very popular whenever there’s any rugby on, but a little plastic-y, quasi-sports bar inside.
