Beautiful rooms, triple glazed to block road noise. The staff are very nice and there is a very good restaurant and bar. Prices are reasonable and quality is excellent. This is the first place I check when I am in Cornwall.

The Norway Inn is situated about 5 miles west of Truro in Cornwall on a very busy main road. Management has changed in the last year or so and superb high quality accommodation has been added(four rooms). There are two eating areas, one the main restaurant and the remaining bar area. It is owned by St Austell Brewery. There is an outside area with chairs and a table for smokers.

Traditional pub serving really good local food. Lovely feel to it with very friendly staff. Several different area’s to sit and a good mix of locals and tourists.

Great in the summer evenings for a drink next to the creek or some nibbles. Watch out for there being two menu’s though, to the far left is the Norway’s restaurant and in the bar is a seperate menu, we booked a table there in the Restaurant and took the menu’s through to the bar while we got a drink only to to find it very expensive(mains were £15 and upwards, fish was £25 or more) and far too fancy for what we were looking for, aslo I was picking up the bill for four people and felt more than a little awkward! lol, it was a little embarrassing but we explained the situation and ate in the bar area which was well priced and the food was very good.

I’ve had several lovely meals here and would highly recommend it. Only issue is the location, it is right out of the way so if you want a drink then you will definitely need a taxi as it’s between Truro and Falmouth. They have a lovely open kitchen so you can watch the chef — swearing and temper and all! Great wine selection and lovely food, not cheap but good quality and well renowned locally.

The Norway Inn is situated just past Devoran on the way from Truro to Falmouth. The inside sis slightly larger than the average local pub, but it still has a welcoming feel. They serve meals in the evenings which are of a high quality. The price is not quite as good, meaning some times the meals can work out quite expensive. The drinks, on the other hand, are reasonably charged. The Norway Inn has a friendly feel and the service is good. I would recommend this for a meal as the food is good, but going often could be quite costly.
