HMV is a dvd/​games/​cd superstore. emphasis on super! It is great you can find anything that you want here and there is allways some sort of deal/​pecial offer on. HMV also has a lot of gadgets as well as novelty t shirts

Great stock but absolute nightmare to shop in here! The queue fills up one aisle and its guaranteed to be the one you want to look down lol!
Plus the aisles really aren’t wide enough, I have given up going in here at all as I just can’t get the buggy round, it was even worse on our double buggy days! Plus have yet to be served by a friendly smiling member of staff!!!

Its your bulk standard HMV — lots of dvds and cds and its a decent sized store but its always way to crowded. i think like most HMV stores they try to jam way to much stuff in there so you can barely squeeze round anyway. The offers are never that cheap and the staff look like they hate the place and that you as the customer are the source of all their pain. Just go on amazon and save yourself the bother.

This place is beyond difficult to get around as the aisles are ridiculously narrow. If you have a buggy then forget it, similarly wheelchair users. The queueing system is crazy as they make you queue down one aisle so if you happen to be browsing in that aisle and it’s busy then you will get shoved by people in the queue! It sells a good range of the usual CD, DVD, games, records and magazines, nothing special though and quite small.

A decent sized store with a good array of Cds and Dvds as would be expected.
Most titles can be found in here and I find the staff to be very friendly and helpful when you need them.
I do however find that although the offers in here can be good, like 5 dvds for £30 or similar some of the Dvds seem to have really high prices when you can get them in other places a lot cheaper.
Their sales can be good as well though, so somewhere I definitely consider worth a look, just make sure you can’t get a better price elsewhere.
