Totnes Rare Breeds Farm

I only used the café here. A very pleasant spot beside the railway with modern and steam trains to watch. Indoor and outdoor garden seating.

Easily accessible through the riverside footpath, this is a lovely walk, and a charming afternoon out for the family with young children. There is a little teashop on the premises (where you pay your admission fee) and then you walk into the ‘farm’. You will be greeted by owls of all shapes and sizes. Follow the path to find all sorts of goats, sheep, chickens and lots more besides. My toddler had a great time, even if she was a bit scared of the goats (who are a bit over-​friendly LOL!) I can’t imagine older kids or teenagers enjoying it that much though. A must-​see.
