Think back to your childhood — walking into a shop with your 10 pence to buy a quarter of Rubarn & Custard sweets. Thought those days were gone? Think again! Though it might cost you more than 10 pence!!!
Popping into Cranch’s will bring memories flooding back and you will find sweets there you had probably forgotten all about.

If you are visiting Totnes make sure you have a look at Cranchs, it will take you back when you have a look at the jars of traditional sweets. Barley sugar twists, butter scotch and pineapple cubes they are all here.
Pick a quarter of something you fancy and get your paper bag with a little of what you fancy.
They also cater for the romantic trade with boxes of quality chocolates and in season Easter Eggs and Christmas novelties.
You can also get a Devon cowpat (delicious fudge really) and some rock to take home.
My person favourite is the coconut mushrooms.

Cranch’s sweet shop is like stepping back in time, with its big jars of sweets everywhere. This shop offers a huge variety of old fashioned sweets such as my favourite rhubarb and custard. It offers a large range of pick and mix with all the favourites such as fruit salad and black jacks. If you are in Totnes this shop is definitely worth a visit.
