It is the old cemetery that is worth a visit there are two graves worthy of note, the first is the Singer Mausoleum. Considering Isaac Singer (he of Singer Sewing machine fame) had 22 children and died worth several billion, it is a modest tomb.(see my photo) The second is that of Skene Craig — one of the Founders of Melbourne in the State of Victoria Austrralia, who was the first postmaster general & who planted the first vines there. He married Frances Zenobia St Aubyn of the family on St Michael’s Mount.(see my photo) If you go to Oldway Mansion in Paignton(see my review) afterwards, you can see the magnificent Singer Family home being converted into luxury flats (April 2013) but hurry, it will soon be locked off to the public
