Pier Point Restaurant and Bar

Been here a few times whilst in Torquay (it’s now my go-​to restaurant in the area!) lovely location, right on the seafront, friendly staff, chilled and pleasant atmosphere, and great food!

Pleasant meals, excellent view, nice and helpful staff, reasonable prices.
Cleaning up of tables was carried out immediately once we arrived at the table, however, it took some time to clear the neibourhood and the dishwashing also could be improved.

Great place to eat or go for a drink day or night in Torquay, amazing views and excellent staff!

Really pleasant evening. Food was lovely, drinks reasonably priced and the staff really friendly and helpful. Nice position on the seafront. Will definately be back!

Torquay wasn’t on our original travel plans, but tonight as I sit listening to the cold autumn rain on my window, I’m wishing I was sitting outside at Pier Point for afternoon tea.
We really enjoyed our meals here, and after walking all up and down the seafront, we stopped back here for Devonshire Cream tea… I couldn’t wait. Now I’m hooked! There’s something delightful about cream tea. I can’t find a decent scone around home… much less, one that comes served at a beautiful table over looking the sea.
Pier Point has such a lovely view, we always sat outside. They are ready for all meal times and needs. Their website would be a great one to check before heading here so you can know what is available.
I would go back quickly, if only I could!

Great tasting food with a good selection of quality meals. Open all day in a glorious position looking out on the bay. A quick service with friendly staff without feeling rushed. so whether you are there to get something to eat before the theatre showing in 30 minutes or for a relaxing evening meal. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Fantastic.

Superb food and customer service. We have been here many times and it never fails to delight.

Base next door to the theatre this place is located on the promenade and has a good sheltered outdoor area to sit in fine weather.
Prices are average for this area of Torquay and the staff were pleasant.
I don’t know what the food is like as we didn’t eat and I didn’t see anyone eating either.
