Fantastic location and fantastic pub. Mike the publican is a gem. If you like pubs on the river, you can’t do much better than this.

Excellent pub for couples and families. A lot larger (and nicer) than it looks from the front, with a great garden overlooking the river and Ditton Island.
Food was tasty, with a good selection at reasonable prices (and two meals for under £10 offer, which is great value).
Friendly and attentive staff as well. We’ll definitely go back.

What a GEM! We were on the way to another dinner venue and passed the Ye Olde Swan. We decided to turn back and give it a try. The very welcoming «hello» from the GM made us feel this is the right place. An incredibly attentive and all smiles waitress who recommended the Lamb Koftas. Delicious! The steak, sumptious and cooked to perfection! The view over the Thames, quite serene, for a moment I felt I was on the Zambesi, with Parrots and all entertaining the viewers with their «chatter.»
Indeed a lovely place to unwind, relax and enjoy good food, wine and service.

We were welcomed by the lovely manager — he seemed to know everyone and be very helpful.
We had booked but found a table looking out over the river so moved there — we had the goats cheese flatbread to start, it was plenty to share and was really lovely.
For mains we had the Duck and the Steak and they were really good.
The one thing that was slightly bland was the veg with the Duck — but the rest of the meal made up for it!
I would definately go back.
