I have been a fan of Healings Mill for many Years as one of Tewkesburys main attractions of interest. The mill is interesting not just for it’s imposing architecture but for the glimpse of industrial England that it offers. It is possible to get a small insight into the mill by pearing into the windows on the lower floors and watch the people in their white coats and hats hard at work. It’s old barges which used to be used to transport the flour to Gloucester have recently been sold but until recently could be seen moored up along side the mill. if you are interested in checking out this industrial relic make sure you head on down to Tewkesbury soon before it is no longer used for this purpose.
