Primark

Good old primark, not there for the most upmarket standard of clothes but fantastic for the everyday and kids section.
The price of socks pants, PJ’s and so on it great, especially when kids can make things dissapear or holey in no time.
The range of accessories availible is good and the prices reflect that.
Staff always friendly even when the shop is heaving and they’re run off their feet.
Worth a look for everyday clothes!

Great for cheap women’s clothing. When you want something that will be in fashion and don’t want to spend lots of money this is the place. My teenage daughter loves it — can get a pair of sunglasses, a pair of earrings and a new top for under £10! Their kids clothes are reasonably priced and since children outgrown outfits faster than they last it’s nice to not have to spend a small fortune. Housewares could be improved upon and I agree that the men’s selection leaves much to be desired but for some basics it’s not too bad. Keep in mind that you do get what you pay for (always buy slightly large as things shrink) and this isn’t long term, high quality clothing. Great place for cheap summer sandals & shoes.

Primark is ok for cheap clothes. There were men’s jeans for a fiver, tops for £2. I personally hate clothes shopping and I didnt buy anything in there at all. Pre-​stressed jeans just seem like a pointless thing to me. If I buy new clothes I want people to know there are new. I don’t like things with patterns. However, my wife picked up some stuff in there, in the expectation that for that price it wont last very long, but will do for now, until payday comes around. One of the ladies on the till didnt seem to know what she was doing, and called a chap over who took over but not with very good grace.

Primark is brilliant if you want cheap clothes at a very reasonable price. They sell very fashionable clothes at a very good price. Primark is fast becoming a very popular store and this one in Taunton is no exception. Admittedly it is very much like a jumble sale, but then what can you except when you are hardly paying very much. Their shoes are very cheap although not very durable and don’t expect them to last long. You can often put a primark jumper in the wash and take it out very faded. If you don’t want to pay much then this is the shop for you, but if you want quality clothing then you should probably prepare to pay more.

I know with the recent press coverage of how Primark are accused of using child labour and I do not agree with this at all and quite rightly they have been through a bad time. However I am sure if you investigate a lot of the high street stores you will find exactly the same, at least they are trying to do the right thing by opening factories etc which do not employ young children. They also let the public have the benefit of cheap clothes unlike others who blatantly lie for the price tag.
The clothes in Primark are cheap and fashionable. Not all good quality but if you delve into their jumble style rails you can find great things. 100% cotton tee shirts and shirts (I bought a really smart shirt the other day for £1.00) Underwear and night wear, shoes and accessories. Mens
jeans at £4.00 (ok for work!) mens jumpers at £6.00 Great looking clothes at the fraction of the cost. In these hard days I am glad to say we have such a shop on the high street.

Some of their clothes can be quite good. Unfortunately, this only spans as far as the women’s clothes.
The men’s selection is dire. There’s about 5 styles of t-​shirt, 2 styles of combar jeans, and a selection of garish ties in a variety of neon colours.
If you buy something from here, you’ll end up wearing the same as at least three other people you walk past in a given day.
Underwear is very poor quality, and seems to fall apart after a few wears, or one wash
Fine for generic wear on one night out, but apart from that, avoid!
