This Marriott location is just OK. Upon entering the lobby is nice and modern, the resturant looked appealing. However, I waited to check in for over 15 minutes as the man on the phone was trying to give someone directions. Understaffed perhaps? The room itself isn’t great, but isn’t horrible. Nice flat screen TVs, wireless internet, and directly accross from the Intel campus. The bed in the room I have to laugh at. It literally was sinking inward. By not even sitting on it you could tell the middle of the bed was significantly lower than the sides. This made for awkward sleeping. Also, FYI you can hear EVERYTHING… people moving and talking down the hallways, people clanking dishes in the room next door… makes it a bit hard to sleep at times. The rates of the hotel itself are not bad and the fitness center is open 24 hours. Lots of business types here and overall satisfied with my stay.

This has to be one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. The location of this hotel is wonderful. It’s situated close enough to talk to the town centre in half an hour, with good bus services but it’s far enough away to be away from the noise. Although it’s on a main road you would never know it from inside the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and block out the road, it’s quiet inside and the hotel itself is really nice and luxurious. I thought that the leisure club was good for the most part, with a nice pool and well equipped gym but the changing rooms were a bit grotty. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was nice and comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great. However, I thought the service at the bar left a lot to be desired. The staff here were very friendly and polite but I was standing at the bar for fifteen minutes before anyone came over to serve me. The person working on the bar appeared to be working in the restaurant at the same time.
