I really like Old Town… lots of restaurants, cafes, delis, etc. Decided to have afternoon tea at Café Art. Was a little confused at first because I saw the frame shop and thought I had gotten it all wrong. However, I saw a couple sitting at a table next to the window having coffee/tea, so I decided to pop in. In the display case are lots of nice cakes and goodies to satisfy your sweet tooth. Of course, as I was drooling over the display case, I noticed how delicious the chocolate cake looked. I hadn’t planned on chocolate cake, but how could I say no! So I ordered some tea and a slice of the chocolate cake. The lady at the counter was very friendly and offered to bring my order to me outside. The place was quite busy and it seemed like a very popular place for mothers and their children. There are only two tables outside and they are on a slight slope… you’ve been warned. You might also want to be careful with the teapot as it drips a lot when you pour. However, the chocolate cake… heavenly! It was moist, chocolate-y, and fudgy. I thought about ordering a piece to go for Mr. Snarky, but I was a little worried that I might actually eat it. Great place to have coffee/tea/cake… chocolate cake!

Artistuff is in Victoria Road just opposite the Evening Advertiser offices. Parking would have to be in the Prospect Place car park — double yellow lines outside. A big shop offering every type of picture framing. Also do photos to canvas pictures. A selection of contemporary pictures of all sizes. Keep an eye on the window display which changes frequently.
