Nice and laid back, with some tables outside good choices, prices weren’t too bad food was made fresh and the service was good and friendly. Got a bacon sandwich with chips(frys) and a drink for just over a fiver. We all like our lunch and relaxed after a hard day shopping in town center. Skip the McDonald’s and go to the café bar, you will be much happier.

The Blues Café is a nice diversion from the pie stands, fast food, and otherwise bad food offerings in the city centre. Best jacket potato ever with cheese and bacon on top. The menu said that it came with a trip to the salad bar, but the salad bar was less than desirable, to be putting it nicely. I was served by a sweet elderly woman who gave me plenty of time to choose what I wanted when faced with a strange menu format. The owner actually took pity on me when I came up short in pounds for my meal total. Bless him. **CASHONLY**
