The W H Smith’s in Swansea Qudrant is a pleasant enough store, but it is packed and the ailse are too small even to fit a few people in. It offers items from magazines to books and a small cd and dvd slection, and at christmas time offers a few gifts. The magazine section is the best for variety in the south wales area and has most magazines in stock that you wouldnt find in other whsmiths. Recently upstairs they have opened a post office, which is handy but also increases the footfall into a medium sized shop. Staff are helful although a little slow on tills and not quick enough to open more tills when a queue forms.

This WHSmiths is ok, Not the best in the world. It doesnt have enough room by the magazines as if 1 person is stood looking you have to ask them to move as there isnt enough space to get a buggy past. The fact they have the post office upstairs is a nightmare due to going in a few times and the lift not working. I had to carry my boy in his pram down the 3 flights of stairs that time!

This is an alright store, but it has to be remembered that this is W H Smith and so is, as something of a rule, expensive. Not much to do about that. But if you’re going in anyway, I do think this store is quite nice and there’s certainly a lot of choice in regards to stationary and all that sort of stuff. Not so impressed with their choice of books, but then Swansea has got Waterstones for the likes of that, I guess. The layout is alright but I’ve never been too fond of the addition of the post office and café upstairs.

W H Smith is located at the edge of the Quadrant shopping centre in Swansea and is a well established store. Whilst not a large store it boasts a good variety of up to date books and magazines. If you cant find what you want staff are always helpful and eager to order it in for you. They also stock Dvds and Cds and the stationary section is also good. As a general rule I find W H Smith expensive, That said I do find the 3 for 2 offers work out about the same price as the supermarkets. Their range of magazines is excellent especially if you are after something more specialist.

Quite a good branch of W H Smith, not huge, but with a particularly good greetings card section. The usual book displays, magazines and stationery. There’s usually quite a queue for the check out.
