Sadly, the other review of this Pub, is quite accurate, it used to be a very good Student /Family orientated establishment, but has been on a downward spiral for a few Years now, and not a pleasant Pub at all nowdays. Pity really, as its location means it COULD be a very busy place …

While it looks like quite a nice old style pub, and it pretty cheap, don’t let it decieve you.
This is one of the worst pubs I know, with awful managers shouting at staff in front of customers despite the problems being out of their control. The food is poorly cooked, cheap and the atmosphere terrible.
Dirty, filled with strange locals and just grim. Don’t bother.
