Clean, tidy, bright … and newly revamped, this is a vast improvement on its previous incarnation. The ‘electronic scoreboard’ info panels look modern and well updated. Let’s hope it stays this way. One gripe — public seating harsh on the eye and too low on capacity.

In the next few months the long awaited works to the bus station will commence, not a moment to soon I my hasten to add. The terminal building is lacking in good seating, poor decoration and almost non existent passenger information. Dirty and full of pigeons the bus terminal is certainly not a place where you would want to wait long for your bus.

Found at one end of the mall in the centre of Swansea, this is the main bus station in the area. I have taken buses to/​from here many times. There are 25 undercover bus bays for trips around South Wales and further afield, including major cities in England. Very run down and in dire need of an upgrade — which is promised for the near future (£11m worth)!! There is an adjoining taxi rank.
