You can’t visit Swansea without going to Langland Bay, even in Winter this place is appealing. It’s a lovely bay with some beach huts and a new café. There is Pay and Display parking. There is a spectacular coastal path which starts just by the golf course. It’s not buggy or wheelchair friendly unfortunately and I think I’d be a bit nervous of going up there with young children. Should you venture up though and you will enjoy a fantastic view, on a nice day it is absolute bliss, it leads right around to Caswell Bay. Who knows you might bump into Catherine Zeta Jones on the way.

One of our favourite places to walk, especially along the pathway between Mumbles and Langland itself. The beach is large and sandy and the headlands green and hilly. The beach is very popular in summer but the promenade and paths make for a pleasant walk all year round. The beach is bordered by a long row of green and white beach huts which are very distinctive and behind lie two large car parks(pay and display). There is a newly built café at one end of the promenade, and a small snack bar and beach shop at the other. Further along the coastal path(just around the corner from Langland Bay) is another café with outdoor tables.
