This was the White Rose for many years, it was re-opened in July 2010, refurbished, and is now a bar-eatery, with additional coffees, home made cakes. It is really nice inside, comfy sofas and leather stools to the side and front, tables and chairs for dining along the other side. Home made food, good selection, cooked to order. Sunday lunches and a pianist accompanist! The new proprietors have made a real effort to make this a place you would want to return to, good tunes, nice ambience. It’s also open for lunches and should be a preferred choice for the office workers and execs having a business lunch.
