Dubella Lounge

Nice little coffee/​bar lounge located in boldmere. An excellent place to get a nice Breakfast and coffee, located in the Centre of boldmere high Street it’s pretty well located. I had an all day English breakfast whilst a friend chose the burger and fries (the burger portion was very generous). Drinks selection is good, they even do milkshakes. All in all a nice place to spend your Saturday afternoons with friends or family.

Dubella has settled in well to boldmere holding its own in the independent business market. It has a great atmosphere and can be really chilled. Upon my last visit, I noticed they are expanding into the unit next door so business must be booming to rightly so! I’ve been on a quiz night (mon or tues) and on a Thursday they have djs playing a variety of tunes. Food is good value for money. Could be more variety in drinks but the service is improved dramatically over the time it has been open! Great social hub for boldmere.

Really nice place. The onion rings are lovely (I do judge a place on their onion rings!!) The vegetarian burger was really nice too :)

Breakfast Review:
This is the home of the Boldmere Bullets, a cycling group that seems to have set up home at this lounge. I’d been meaning to try it for over a year, but never got around to it — until now.
It’s very spacious in there, by design, I think. They welcome families and there were a few pushchairs in there, which led to some crying from a couple of the junior guests.
Breakfast was good. It was huge! 2 sausages, (a very fine texture), 2 slices of bacon, half a grilled tomato, a hash brown, beans (served separately, in a ram akin), a perfectly fried egg, mushrooms, black pudding, white pudding and toast. Not bad for £6.95!
In summary: I was impressed. Very impressed. It’s certainly a good breakfast. It’s definitely good value. You should try it.
